The first thing you'll notice about the Yokohama Parada is the nice look of the tires. No, that is not why anyone should buy a new tire, but having attractive tread on your vehicle is nice to look at. It can be argued that the Parada has the best looks in its class. Beyond looks, the directional tread pattern is quite unique. The design gives the tire better stability during quick acceleration, as well as hard braking when you need to stop in a hurry.

The risk of hydroplaning is virtually eliminated due to features like the curved center ribs for support and grip on wet roads. Wet traction is further supported by large grooves in the center which run deep and cut through the water during heavy rain. As far as road noise, this tire is well known to be a very quiet tire. You will find it running with negligible road noise even at higher speeds. Yokohama has incorporated its Variable Pitch technology to provide good comfort and also prolong the life of the tire.

Inside the tire are two strong steel belts which have been reinforced with nylon spirals to provide support to the tire and further enhance the life of the tire. The shoulders of the tire have been reinforced to ensure increased stability during hard cornering. Yokohama has added a Rim Protector Sidewall that protects your expensive alloy wheels while parking against curbs.

Overall, the Yokohama Parada Spec-X Tire provides very good handling and traction performance, regardless of whether the roads are wet or dry. Comfort and quietness are among the best in its class. Our biggest fault is that the tire does not have a tread life guarantee, but that should not prevent you from purchasing due to the tremendous performance of the Parada Spec-X.

Warranty

Yokohama Tires does not provide a tread life warranty on the Parada Spec-X. However, you do have a first 2/32 inch of wear tire uniformity guarantee.

Materials and workmanship are backed for five years and include a free replacement tire during the first year or first 2/32 inch of wear. The amount is then prorated down until there is 2/32 inch of remaining useable tread depth left on the tire.
