Pirelli P6000 Tire Review
The Pirelli P6000 tire sports an aggressive looking tread design that not only speaks of high performance, but
delivers it as well. This "new age" tread design may not be what you're used to seeing from Pirelli, but the
company wanted to push its tire technology to the limits with this model.
The P6000 features a silica enhanced tread compound and black fillers that combine to give this tire very good
handling on wet roads, while also providing a lower rolling resistance. The unique tread block design and channel
grooves reduce the risk of hydroplaning, and improve the cornering on dry roads.
All of this performance does come with a price as you well know. This is not a cheap tire by any stretch, but
beyond that you should also expect to hear some road noise. Pirelli does not include a mileage warranty on this
model. Some drivers have mentioned tread wear is not good when pushing this tire to the limits. Of course, that can
be expected. Overall, Pirelli has a truly unique looking tread design that matches performance.
