The W401 features a studdable tread design to meet the needs for even the most severe of winter weather. The aggressive looking tread pattern provides two wide grooves along with two grooves that are zig-zagged. They combine to enhance both wet pavement traction, as well as evacuate more water and slush from under the tire.

Overall, the Hankook Zovac HP gets the job done. Its a no-frills snow tire keeps you on the road during the worst of winter weather, but it also does it with good value for the money.
