General Grabber UHP Tire Review

General Grabber UHP tires are considered to be a street/sport truck tire. These tires were developed with high performance pickup and SUV owners in mind. They are designed with an emphasis on traction, control, and handling in both dry and wet conditions. They are not recommended for severe winter conditions and they are considered to be a summer tire.

The tire features a directional tread design made from an ultra-high performance silica compound. The design also features wide shoulder blocks and a central V-shaped tread area. This gives you more responsive handling on dry roads, and the V-shaped tread helps sweep water away from the tire in wet conditions.

The internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced with a mixture of nylon and polyester wound in a spiral pattern with no joints.

Combining the internal and external construction of the General Grabber UHP Tires gives the driver a more durable tire for high performance conditions. The tire is more durable at higher speeds than many other tires allowing the owner to use the tires for racing along with regular street driving. Testing showed the General Grabber UHP Tire can hold its own with other competing tires in every category and is considered to be a top performing summer tire.
