The tire itself sports a directional tread pattern and independent tread blocks. Combined with more densely populated sipes, it bites and grips snow and ice like a studded tire. Speaking of studs, the WinterForce can be outfitted with TSMI #12 metallic studs if you require them in your particular area.

Inside the tire you will find twin steel belts covering a polyester body that give this tire much better overall strength and comfort, while improving stability at highway speeds.

The Firestone WinterForce snow tire provides outstanding traction on light snow, deep snow, ice, slush or rain soaked roads, while doing so for a low cost. Pros

Warranty

Firestone Tires does not have a mileage warranty on the WinterForce, which is pretty much standard for snow tires. They do however provide a first 1/32 inch of wear for tire uniformity.

Materials and workmanship are backed for 5 years. The guarantee is prorated down until there is 2/32 inch of useable tread depth left on the tire.
