Achilles ATR Sport Tire Review
The Achilles ATR Sport tire may not be as well known as
other more popular brands, but this tire performs surprisingly well as a summer high performance tire.
Achilles has added EcoSafe technology into the design and construction of the tread that helps in providing
much less rolling resistance for better overall fuel economy.
The tire itself features a computer tread design and a wide steel belt to create a tire that not only offers
excellent handling and cornering on dry surfaces, but also a footprint that makes driving on rain soaked roads,
without the risk of hydroplaning, much easier. But Achilles didn't stop with performance on the ATR Sport, they
also created a tread pattern that gives this model a very quiet ride, even at highway speeds.
The ATR Sport is also M+S rated, but it is not really designed to drive in the snow except perhaps on rare
occasions. You'll be better served by driving it on dry or wet roads. One of the bigger drawing points with this
model is with the price points. It is economically priced when compared to other tires in its class.
Price Range
Prices on the Achilles ATR Sport tires range from around $75 for the 15 inch series, to approximately $175 for
the larger 20 inch series tires.
